30 Suggested Activities to do over the Easter Holidays

Below are a list of 30 suggested activities that the girls could get up to over the Easter break. We hope you all stay safe and enjoy the extra time with your families.

Each teacher will also be sending their own suggested activity list on their Google Classroom page.

Activities to keep you busy over the Easter holidays!

1.Easter poetry – Write an Easter-themed poem. Use any format you like e.g. acrostic, cinquain, rhyming.

2.Host an Easter Egg Hunt! – Why not create your own Easter Egg Hunt for your family. You could even do it orienteering style – giving clues as to where each egg is hidden!

3.Easter Art – Create a piece of artwork based around the theme of Easter. It can be anything you’d like!

4.Emoji Maths Problems – Some are tricky, but give them a go!

5.Hold an Egg Race – Let all the race participants decorate their own hardboiled egg with paint, glitter, etc. Then hand them all a spoon and let them race off on the predetermined course.

9.Kahoot – Easter and spring quizzes – Play an Easter/spring quiz on Kahoot! Why not make up your own quiz for the rest of the class to try?

22.Puppets – Use an old sock to create a puppet. Why not create two puppets and write a script! Perform the play for your family!

23. Reading – Build a reading den – find somewhere cosy, snuggle up and read a book!

24.Thank you letter – Do you know any doctors or nurses – why not write them a thank you letter for all that they are doing to help our society?

25.Draw a view – Look out your window and sketch what you see!

26.Twinkl – There are so many nice resources on the twinkl website. Why not try an Easter crossword or puzzle. www.twinkl.ie

27.Wordsearch – Create an Easter wordsearch. Give it to someone in your family to see if they can find your words!
