Lava Lamps

Today, to finish off Science Week, we made Lava Lamps! It was really simple. We filled our jars with 1/4 water and 3/4 oil. Then we dropped in some food colouring. Finally, we broke up an Alka-Seltzer tablet and dropped it in. Then we watched the magic! ✨😲😃😍

Living Things Hunt

Yesterday we got to try out the new outdoor classroom! We went on a ‘Living Things’ hunt and reported back what we found. We found trees, bushes, herbs, birds and plenty of insects! 🐜🐞🐌🕷

Forensic Fingerprints!

On Monday, our class watched a Forensics Workshop video that talked about crime scenes. One of the main things they use to identify criminals is their finger prints. Today we examined our finger prints by making prints on balloons and then blowing them up to see them ‘Super-sized!’
