Engineering Week

Engineering Week

A huge welcome back to our 2nd classes. It is great to see them back this morning! 🙂

For the rest of the girls, work is still continuing remotely for a further two weeks. We are really looking forward to the 15th to welcome all the girls back to school.

This week, we are celebrating ‘Engineering Week’. There are lots of activities and challenges going on throughout the week. Keep an eye out on our Twitter page for some of the work that is going on.

Mr Mc Elwain has set another principal’s challenge this week. The challenge is:

“This week’s #principalschallenge has an engineering twist! You must construct a bridge using recycled materials. The bridge must go between two objects (They could be two chairs, two books, two tin cans etc.). The bridge must be strong enough to hold a hard boiled egg!!
You have until Friday to send a photograph of your entry to and don’t forget to show your egg in the photo!”

It would be great to see lots of entries and lots of participation in this challenge!

Keep an eye out for what we get up to during the week! 🙂
