Gravity – Parachutes

Gravity – Parachutes

Last week, we were learning about Gravity in Science. We did lots of different experiments including leaning against a wall with our head and shoulder touching wall, then we tried to lift our other leg. We also tried to stand up from our chair without using our hands. We balances ‘Acrobatic Clowns’ on our fingers and we tried our ‘Paper Helicopters’.

We then designed and made parachutes in groups of 3. We tied a paintbrush to them and tested them out on the stairwell in the corridor. We had great fun doing it and realised the lightest parachute was the best!
