Halloween Round Up

Halloween Round Up

We’ve had such a busy October here in room 24. Here are just a snippet of some of the activities and projects we did this month!

Our visit to Easons!

We went to Easons to see Robin Stevens. She spoke to us about our new book. Some girls also got their books signed by her. We were treated to an open top bus on the way home. We had a blast!

Readathon launch

For the start of Readathon we did book tasting. We got to try a few different books. It was great and we are reading loads while collecting money for MS Ireland

Trip to the Dáil

Our local TD Noel Rock invited us into Government buildings. We got to see first hand how the Dáil and the Seanad work.

All term we were working hard on our Family history projects. We researched and made a project about a family member. WE had a showcase of these projects in the hall with our family members invited. We also had a showcase of the projects for the girls in the school

Halloween pumpkin competition

We had great fun with the pumpkins this year for the annual pumpkin competition. Take a look at our designs.

We love having buddy time. We are buddies with Ms. Smith’s 2nd class. Firm friendships are being forged with the 2nd class. We had great fun making up games to play with the buddies.
