Science Week 2019!

Science Week 2019!

This week, we had great fun celebrating Science Week 2019! Every day, the girls had to put their thinking caps on to answer a Science related question. Some of the questions included; how many bones are in the human body? What is the second largest planet?, etc.

On Thursday, we took part in Science experiment stations. Each table was given a Science experiment to complete. The girls made predictions for each experiment and compared the results to their predictions, once the experiment was completed. The experiments we looked at were; Orange Buoyancy, Dancing Raisins, Rainbow Colour Mixing and Fireworks in a Glass. The girls had so much fun completing the experiments and sharing their results with their peers!

On Friday, we were very lucky to get to visit Room 12’s Science Fair! We got a chance to observe all of the amazing Science experiments the 6th class girls had been working so hard on. We got to take part in a number of the experiments, which was very exciting!

Take a look at some of the things we got up to during Science Week 2019!
