Dear Parents & Guardians,
Our walking buses are up and running!
The meeting points are:
Marino – Junction of Marino Park (Bottom Circle) and Fairview Avenue (departing at 8.40am)
Donnycarney – Donnycarney Credit Union on the Malahide Road (departing at 8.40am)
Junction of Griffith Avenue & Charlemont (departing at 8.45am)
Our aim, once again, is to encourage you and your child/children to walk to school more often. We promote walking to school to help decrease air pollution and traffic congestion, and to increase physical activity while having fun and a chat along the way. For the walking buses to operate, we need parent volunteers. If you can commit to leading the bus one or more mornings each week, we would love to hear from you. We will be sending home a note early next week.
